Ok heres the deal i have a 2008 mazda3 touring andhave huge problem and need any1's help asap ok basically in the center console there are the drawers the first is a small compartment and the second the deep drawer under the armrest. well it seems i dropped an earing into the center console but i cant get it out. I took 2 screws off in the bottom of the console and lifted the whole thing up but it appears as if the console is sealed all the way around so what i need to know is how to get the open n shut door off to get into the middle. The arm that swings open n closed when you open the center console has a screw that turns i guess but how do i take that swinging door off!! Any help would b greatly appreciated!! Thanks

 

Unscrewthe shift **** and lift up on the surround. Open the console box lid, reach in and pull up on the front. This will release the entire top of the console.
