Default HID Kits

On my 1992 MX-3 I have a 10,000k Bi-xenon HID kit and I heard that HIDs can screw up your electrical. Is this true? I mean, I had mine in for like 3 months now and nothings happened yet...they look great and don't seem to cause any problems.

sorry no help here but i was going to put the blue xenon on my 95 mx3 4cyl looked them up and they were 10,000 also. my son in law said there would be a heat problem with them and melt the lens since mine are factory plastic ones.found a kit on ebay that had ballast, controller, wires and bulbs with sockets, it ran about 50.00 or 60.00 bucks

I have had my h4 kit and actually they run cooler than the stock lights and there is nothing wrong with my HID kit or my lamp. So I would say that there is nothing to worry about.
