I've a Mazda 626 (1999) 2.0i SE hatchback which although is a lovely car, seems & appears to have an annoying 'mid-range' flat spot at around 70mph!! Having spoken to a local engineer, he reckons that it is a 'quirk' with that model, as he's had a few customers approach him with the same problem!! Can anyone shed any light on the situation?
