Default Fuel gauge not moving

Hi everyone,
I have a 1990 familia and my fuel gauge needle isnt moving. The low fuel light went off but the needle didnt move. I put some more in it but still no change. What is wrong and are there any easy ways to fix it??

Fill the tank to its limit. Start driving & see what hapens. If it doesn't move, drive for half your usual tank mileage. Remove the rear seat base see if there is a metal plate held in by 4 screws. If yes remove the plate, this should give you acess to the fuel pump & fuel guage sender. Unplug the fuel pump but not the sender unit.Remove the sender, turn the ignition on, move the float slowly up & down & see if the guage works. Also unplug the guage & hook up a ohm meter & test for resistance change when moving the float,
