frustrated
 

Hello folks, I need your help again
1992 2600i, It started sputtering and spitting and it shuts down and will not crank back up. I had the "coil" replaced and the "igniter" replaced. Drove it a month and it did the same thing again. I had to pull it to the mechanic shop. He has had it three weeks and tells me it has cranked every time and has not demonstrated the symptoms to which I have carried the truck to him for - as in, it has not shut down and not restarted. They do drive it up the road and come back to see if it will demonstrate symptoms, but no demonstration of symptoms. So, I think they are not driving it enough to get it hot and then see if the symptoms of sputtering and spitting and cutting off and non restart occurs.
Does anybody have any clues as to what is going on?
