Default Fool Infotainment system into thinking car is in Park

I've had my 2025 CX-50 for a few months and am disappointed by what I can't do while the vehicle is in motion. Even simple things like scrolling through a Pandora list will pause every couple of screens with a "Safety Delay", making you start all over again. This and all the other nanny nonsense is counter to safety. I want to fool the system into thinking the car is in Park.

Anyone done this, or have any idea on the best way to do it?

I bought a piece of hardware from a guy in Belarus for my Mercedes called "Video in Motion" that does this. It was $250 and well worth it. Works beautifully and my Mazda desperately needs something like this.

I would recommend to wait until you are out of Warranty. If you alter the BCM there will be a record of it in the ECU .

Thanks Callisto. Problem is I plan to sell the car at the end of the 3 year warranty, and while I own it I'd like to get maximum value.

So looking into your question what you want to do is controlled by the connect infotainment center . Likely not the BCM but not 100% sure about that?? I don't have a 2023-2025 Mazda to test and or experiment on in the shop and not sure my customers would allow me to anyway? lol
Honestly I can not see how to do what you want without changing the complete control unit with aftermarket soooo So maybe you should just contact Naviks direct and talk with them?
