Ive just joined up on here.

Thought i would give you all a question. Hope it is one you can answer for me.

IHave a Mazda b2200 truck that, sadly the other night, on the way to the pub. The Crank Snapped, leaving me stranded at the side of the road.

Now this is where you guys come in.

I was wondering what engine to transplant into it. I know there are lots of engines out there, but i do want to keep it ecconomical to run. Its my parts hauler, so i do loads of miles, fully laiden. Now i am hoping to use the standard gearbox in the truck, for this engine.

So if you would let me know what would bolt up to this, even if its a petrol one, but economical at the same time.

I dont want to go and throw loads of money at it, so if you could bear that in mind that would be good.
