engine noise
 

I have a mellenia with 95,000 on it. For about a two months now, I been trying to pinpoint a grinding noise. First I thought it could have been a tensioner going on the timing belt, then maybe pulleys (ball bearing going bad) now I brought it to a local firestone and they said it is an internal problem. Would anyone have advice in figuring out what is the cause of a light banging noise once the car starts and then happens to go away to an even lighter hum once i am driving. Lifters? low oil pressure? Help any suggestions other than you better dump it now...
