Were there any cars in the 1984 (+or-) year model, that used a 2.0L, timing chain engine that that i could put into a truck of the same year?

I believe Toyota were using timing chains back then. I was in the business at the time and remember having to replace one once, I think it was a Corolla, but I couldn't swear it was a 2.0L. 'Probably a 1.8L?

Like Datsun for instance, in the 70's, had an L16, L18, and the L20b. that would swap around to many different truck models. but they would also go into a 510 car, which also came with an L series engine.
