Default Emergency Brake Adjustment protege 5

Hi all, new to the forum. I have been having issues with adjusting my e-brake. I have adjusted it 5 separate times, and every time I put everything back together, it works once, then comes out of adjustment. Any tips?
Thanks, Vince

How old is the car?
How long since the brake fluid was changed?
Completely de-adjust the handbrake cable, undo the allen key, unbolt the caliper, fully push in the piston, pump the pedal a little to push the piston out alittle, push in piston fully. Refit caliper, pump pedal 50 times with engine running, wind the Allen key tight.back it off 1/3 turn.make sure disc spins freely. Adjust cable. See if this helps. Other wise calipers need rebuilding.
