Driver window controls not working

Wondering if anyone can help?

The battery on my mazda 5 went flat last week and since then I cant seem to operate any of the other windows from the controls on the drivers side. The drivers window works and so do the other windows if you use the control at that window but not if I se the control on the drivers side.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
Thanks

RE: Driver window controls not working

The wiring harness that plugs into the driver door control box became unplugged. It's a common problem, especially if somebody has worked on the door before, like replacing the window regulator. Mazda uses a very brittle plastic tab to lock the harness in place. If the plastic tab is broken the harness can wiggle out of the socket over time.

See if you can pry out the control box from the door, starting from the back end. It usually just lifts up and out. If you can get it out you will see whethere the harness is unplugged or not. I ended up securing the harness to my door control box with a piece of string. You need to be resourceful sometimes.....

Anyone pull the switch plate assembly to see if it"s anything obvious.. like a loose or disconnected plug or wires?
