Default Door Open Switches on a Mazda B2500?

Does anyone know where the door open switches are on a 1998 Mazda B2500? It's the 4 door model. When I got this truck the dome lights were removed and I guess it's because they never go off. I can't find the switches along the doors which open to turn on the dome light. Does anyone know where they are?

Thanks!

Default RE: Door Open Switches on a Mazda B2500?

The door ajar switches are located on the veryunderside of the door latch/lock assemblies inside the door. It is extremely common for the switches to get stuck in due to dust and debris. You will need to pull the inner door panels to get access to the switches. Just unplug the switch to see which one it is but would be in good interest to just replace both front as they fail so often. They are only $12 or so. Diagram below shows a somewhat poor drawing of the door latch lock with the ajar switch sticking out of the bottom. Rotate the switch couterclockwise approx 45' to remove.
