can confirm the '26 cx-5 builder on the mazda usa website does state CD & i-stop as does the posted spec sheet (not sure if the spec sheet is just the US or not though)...no other '26 model seems to state it similarly in the builder summary on the mazda usa website...

Read the exact sentence under Specification Deck..

Basically, that incomplete informational post with all the disclaimers was not understood very well. It also missing pages?
I have the exact copy DIRECT from MAZDA corp that is more in-depth and complete so maybe the person that posted the other should find and post that one?

This is how it starts.... disinformation posted on the www and on forums.

It's really not that complicated. Perhaps you should read my post again Cali, if you can read. Of course there are disclaimers just like any specification. It is just confirming what others saw on actual window stickers on lots. Pretty simple.

Here is a direct link if it helps, rather than an imaginary document. By the way that says FINAL if you are hard of reading.

Watching Cali find out things from others is hilarious. The window stickers, specification document, and vehicle builder all confirm the same. Yet, Cali cries because he wasn't first to know.

"I bought a new car. It is riptide blue."
"No it's not red closer you car is Lava Red."
"It is definitely blue, here is a pic and the sticker."
"Wrong red better adn be more empirically inform. "

If you know you know. Sad life of a troll.

that's the version posted on the mazda usa website...same number of pages as the posted version...so while it does state that it's subject to change, there are 2 sources which state the same thing on their website...plus the window stickers, so 3+ (depending on how many window stickers were viewed)...but i guess we'll have to wait for additional confirmed sources to be absolutely sure...

Mine has the date of publish and also a revision and that was direct from Mazda. So No its not the current one, yes, it is missing information and nice to see you actually went back to read the disclaimer. And Yes Mazda as well every other auto manufacture will throughout a model year to change many informational to update that information. Its is called revised or revision or supersedes.

This is such a fun thread almost like politics. 2 sides with a strong belief in what is right/correct and the in-between that is somewhat neutral. And then the small unappreciated group that tends to get things correct. Which group do some of you "THINK" you fall in? LOL

LOL what is this ^^^^ LOL

That's not confirmed unless you post what the documentation is supporting this "blanket" statement and not even a http for all to read and verifying anything except your reading something and personally believed it?

As already discussed in other threads, cylinder deactivation and i-stop are already confirmed in 2026 CX-5. It is on the window stickers, in the product specifications on Mazda USA's website, and in-person at the car dealerships. Owners are already taking possession confirming it.

word of mouth from a user on one of the slightly larger mazda forums who posted photos of a just received 2026 premium...anyone who wants the link can search or just ask for a DM...may not be 100% empirically confirmed data but it's good enough for me ...i-stop is listed as a feature in the 2026 owner's manual as well
