Default CX-9 Prospective Owner and AWD

I'd like to know if the CX-9 AWD runs on dry pavement with just one axle powered, or is it designed to run with both axles powered at all times?

The cx-9 runs all wheel drive all the time, only if you have the AWD model. The cx-9 is made in FWD and AWD. The AWD will always apply more power to the front end then the rear. The CX-9 is a great investment, its immaculate in the snow and ice as well.

Default It's surprising how hard...

... it is to get this question answered, for any AWD vehicles. Salesmen/dealers don't seem to have asked it themselves, and it always seemed to me one of the most obvious questions to ask. Thanks very much for your reply.

(I don't suppose anybody knows how the Hyundai VeraCruz AWD operates with respect to this question? It's the other car under consideration.)
