Default Buy OEM Alternator or Rebuild my OEM or Aftermarket?

Hello, I have a 2014 CX9 needing a new alternator. Should I buy the expensive OEM Mazda replacement, pay to rebuild the one I removed (OEM) or do you have an aftermarket brand you trust that works?

Rebuilt are many times as good as NEW if you find the best supplier or have an Auto electric shop rebuild it for you.
But careful consideration must be thought out, are you changing it or a shop. Then if you are not really a concern. But if a shop and you supply the part most all shops will not replace a failed part you brought in even if it has a part warranty. So if shop then you first need to do your diligence to ask what brands and better who they would buy the part from to install it, new or rebuilt. Many time you can buy it at a less rate then the shops slight markup of the part. But never the less this needs to be completely discussed with the shop.

We never mark up the cost of a service part we don’t stock, and also give a 90 labor free replacement of any part that fails within that 90 days .
There is more to the service contract and we really try to cater to our customers as long as it’s reasonable.
