BRAND NEW MAZDA complete w/scratches

Could someone give me some good advice on how to remove surface scratches on my new Mazda. Apparently (I am guessing on this) the dealership used a window scraper when removing the snow from the hood and left a few scratches on it, depressing.

The dealership was very nice and said that they would have the detail department fix this because they appear to be surface marks only BUT they are about 120miles away, so perhaps I will have them compensate me another way and try to fix this myself?? Perhaps free lifetime oil changes :)

Thanks!

Let them deal with it, and also get their guaranty that is the screw it up worse they will fix it correctly.
No Offense to Mazda Dealers but I was screwed by mine on my 2007, car was perfect sitting on the lot and when it was taken in to be detailed by the dealer it was scratched to hell.

if really get a chance to look at the paint you will notice there is an obsine about of paint flaws with these cars, the bumpers are two shades or more darker than the rest of the body for one, and the lower half looks like someone put some kind of wrinkled protection sheet on it while the paint was still wet. Oh and these cars are ridiculously easy to get light scratches on, so make sure NOBODY leans on your car no matter what they are wearing.
