Hi all, I have a mazda 3 2010 5 door hatch sport grand touring.

I've ran the cables all the way to the back hatch. Everything is wired properly (connection to tailight etc ).

My issue is that on my model the license plate is below the bumper and not on the hatch door. So I'm trying to run the cable from the rear bumper without drilling (if possible ). Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a grommet somewhere that I've missed? I've taken everything apart and checked under the spare tire, near the tail lights and I'm not really seeing anything.

Right now I think my best bet is to run the wire under the weather stripping and drill a small hole where the bumper meets the frame and drop the wire down. From there , there's a grommet in the bumper that I can connect to.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
