Default Android Auto Troubleshooting Help Needed

I have a 2016 Mazda6 that I personally installed Android Auto on by updating the firmware and installing the usb hub and cables. This was a few years ago.

Just the other day, when I plugged my phone into the usb, Android Auto would not open. I have a Bluetooth connection but can't get Android Auto to open. My phone also kept vibrating and the battery charge indicator would go on and off repeatedly.

I ordered a new kit amd replaced the usb hub and cables. At this point, the phone is charging when connected, there is still no Android Auto connection, and if my phone is locked, every 10 seconds or so, it vibrates and the screen comes on.

Anyone else experience these issues? What should I do now to get Android Auto back since I already replaced the parts? Greatly appreciate any help!

Try a different cable.
