I have a 2001 Mazda B300 4x4 V6 and I can't get the Schrader valve out of the AC accumulator. Is it just stuck or do you have replace the whole accumulator?
You should use the correct tool.
This is by far the best tool to remove any (most any) Schrader valve. The smaller type while they may work do not give you the best contact and leverage force to remove a Schrader vale without damaging it or the threads.
You may need to slight tighten then reverse to break it free. Use common sense and not tighten to much. You can also spray WD-40 or other thread releaser and let it soak a few hours and try again. If you damage it in the housing, you may need to replace the complete line or part. Tapping the thread to clean up damaged threads on AC Schrader valve housing seldom works well. So be careful.
I was using a Schrader valve remover tool my kit came with and it broke one of the tabs off, but I have another one. I'll lube it and give it another try. Thanks
