AC problem
Hi.
I have a 2004 Mazda MPV and not AC is sometimes not cooling when idling.
I just replaced the Fan Assembly with two Fan motors and the FCM.
We went on a 4 hour trip today on the highway the the van was cooling great the whole way. As soon as a stop at a traffic light the AC will start blowing warm air.
I parked the car in the driveway. Turned on the AC to full blast and I could hear the compressor turning on and both fans began to spin. When the Fans are spinning everything is cooling great. But sometimes the Fans will stop spinning and they won't come back on. As soon as they stop spinning the car blows warm air. Sometimes they come back on but most of the time they don't. You can hear the compressor tripping on and off sometimes when idling. When the Fans spin the AC blows cold.
Something is causing the both fans not to spin. What would control that? Is there a sensor? Please help....
