TCM in a 2010 JM BL Mazda 3 sedan, dash lights were putting the neighbours xmas yard decorations to shame, original is #1, got it off EBay for $450 AUD - #2, plug & play, it cleared the dash and runs sweet.

Now that I have a spare TCM, I am going to have a go at soldering to fix, will post some pics after my attempt.
