I recently bought a 2009 CX-7..and after my first tank of gas I netted 21.75 MPG. Now my wife does sit in LA traffic so that did not help, but 21 MPG?

How can I improve my fuel economy?

What does everyone else get and what driving tactics do you employ?

 

Hmmm, 21 mpg for a CX-7 while sitting in LA traffic (possibly with the A/C on)? Sounds pretty good to me. I doubt my Mazda3 would get mileage that high in that traffic.
