Default Portable GPS Devices

Purchasing a Garmin portable GPS system for my MS3. Does anyone else have one and where did you mount it? Please note due to California laws it can't be mounted on the window , therefore I would like to see pics of where other Mazda 3 Owners have put there units. Thanks.

Default RE: Portable GPS Devices

Hello 1funride
Sorry I didn't notice your post earlier. If you can't mount the GPS on the windshield you will have to get a remote antenna and mount it somewhere (preferably on the roof) of your car. Then you can mount the GPS anywhere on your dash or console. They GPS must have a veiw of the sky (the clearer the better) for it to lock onto the satellites.
Hope this helps
