Hi all, I have a 2017 Mazda 3 hatchback with the 2.0 skyactive.
Yesterday my wife tells me that the check engine light came on and the car quit. She was able to restart it so I scanned it this morning.
I had 2 codes but am unable to find out what they mean. One came across as a misfire.

Codes read as follows: $07E8 & $07E9

I've tried searching for these codes but do not know what they are exactly.

Thank you for your help. She has over 70k on the odometer, yes, she drives a lot for her work.

 

I am not a mechanic, so I don't have much to add to what you already know. Did the onboard computer give you any more information? (Maintenance under Apps)

 

I'll have to ask her if she can look it up on her car under apps.
