Hi i took my car for a valet last week and within a few days this appeared on the side of my car, does anyone know if its connected? i dont want to go back and complain if its nothing to do with them. Thanks

 

It looks like the clear coat is peeling off. How old is the car?

6 or 7 years old. I would guess this is a case of clear coat peeling. Are you sure this happened while the vehicle was in the valet? You would need to have positive memory for the door's paint to be in good shape prior to giving it to the valet.

A valet parking damage would usually have a dent going with it.

In general the fine print of valet parking is not in favor of the vehicle owner.

 

Yeah there was nothing there before I took it there, iv decided not to take it back as it will be my word against there's. does anyone know how much it'll cost to fix?

 

I suggest you go to 3 different auto body shops for free estimates and to explore options. Once the peeling starts it's only getting worse.
