2016 Mazda 3 trim molding removal
Hey guys,
Just a quick question that googling around didn't really answer.
Can I remove the side trim molding that came with my car?
I don't want there to be holes in the doors after removal.
The car is under warranty but I assume the dealership won't do this for free.
Googling has made me a bit sure that most 3's have an optional side trim, and if people want it they just glue it on.
My idea is to wait till spring, use a heat gun and peel them off.

Looking at that picture, I have to assume that you're in BC, not WA? Mazda Canada offers those as an accessory. They are just stick on, so judicious use of a heat gun should do the trick nicely. A little Goof Off on a rag will take care of the leftover adhesive.
