Speaker Help & Suggestions

Hey all, I think I popped my speakers today (or was it yesterday?) they sound like crap now, its like an empty soda can rattle sound.........yay. What size are the front door and rear door speakers if anyone knows offhand? Any tips on removal and installation? I would like to get some GOOD speakers for the doors but keep the stock look (no cutting door panels), my radio puts out 50Wx4 if that helps with any suggestions. :D :D So to be clear I cant cut panels, car isn't paid off yet so everything has to remain as stock as possible, anything that will fit in that speaker hole though and work will be considered ;)

2006 Mazda 3 Hatchback, 4 speakers-1 in each door.

I know my 2006 Mazda 6 has 5x8 speakers. How ever, I made spacers out of 8mm plywood and fitted 6" speakers instead. A slight trimming of the inside of the front door trims made them fit. No way of knowing what Ive done now.

Inside trimming is ok, I just dont want to mar the outside. What kind of speakers did you install? Any better than the stock ones (which aren't too bad)? Any issues getting the door panels off?

Door trims are easy to remove. I fitted Sony component speakers to the front doors and soundstream to the rear doors.
