Seized Subwoofers?
Driving today & of course my subs were hittin as they always do. I stopped to get some coffee so shut off the car etc, came back out & one of the subs had stopped hitting. I noticed this right away & decided I'll drive home & figure it out there. Well I stopped again shut off the car & everything seemed okay, so I turned the car back on, now neither one of the subs are hitting! They aren't broken, the wiring is all in tact. The fuse to the battery is okay.

RE: Seized Subwoofers?
well i would have to go and check all the grounds, check the coils to see what they are reading, check to see if the amp is powering up, check the power output of the amp... you my have a bad output on that. check the rca's.. ohm them to see what they are reading. check the output of the cd player to make sure that it doesnt have a bad output for the subs... just mainly go through all the conctions and make sure they are good and working

RE: Seized Subwoofers?
something similar to this happened to me. Turned out my subs were blown. If you can, take out the subs from the enclousure and see if the wires on them are still good...and not burnt and broken
