Searching for Eonon GA8198 Owners
 

Hello from Germany,
i am not sure if it belongs here or into the Mazda 6 Forum.
My Name is Michael and i have a not so small Problem. I wanted to install a new Headunit into my Mazda 6 GH 2.5 2008 Car and i buyed the very new Eonon GA9198B.
The Previous Modell GA 8198 was pretty good already and the new one has more Power so i decided for the new one.
My Problem now is that it while it fits into the Dashboard there is a pretty huge Gap on the left side.
I am in contact with the Eonon Support and i want them to explain that its their fault and they have made a Mistake in Production or Planning.
I want to keep the Headunit if possible and thats the reason why go in for so much trouble :D

TL;DR
I am searching for GA8198 Owners that can confirm me that the red circled plastic Clip is in the red circled Area of the GA8198 Headunit. In case you wonder why i want this to know: i made a red square where the plastic Clip fits into the new Headunit and you can see clearly that from the Hole for the Clip there is more Distance to the end of the Headunit witch would cover the Gap i have.https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.maz...f048611963.jpg

Thanks for sharing Eonon. I also looks at another aftermarket Xtrons, they seem to offer great car stereos too with impressive features. Now I am digging deeper on aftermarket car stereos before I make up my which one to get.
