Default polk audio

does anyone on here have any experience with the newer Polk Audio DB series speakers? i had polk speakers throughout my 93 bronco and i loved them, but they were an older model and are most likely discontinued (installed in 99, by previous owner). i want to get the new DB series speakersfor my mazda6. i found component sets for 160$ in crutchfield magazine. i dont know how they sound, but the details on them sound promising. anyone heard them yet? thanks in advance, Nick.
also if your not a big fan of polk, what are some brands you think i should also consider for nice clean sound with minimal distortion when i have it cranked. id also like a nicer basss sound as well. thanks.

I've had Polk speaker before, and I was pleased with them. For good quality, crisp sound, I think JL Audio is a good choice. They are premium sound, and well built. They are higher price, but worth it.

yeah im also a big fan of JL audio..i had a 10 inchW6 in my bronco and loved it..the JL component sets arent much more then the polk ones..maybe 25 bucks more.JL may be the way to go for me tho because i was looking into the cleansweep system by JL for my car and im pretty interested in it. that mod might have to wait for the summer haha. alittle on the expensive side.
