Will do, a quick question though, did you un-hook the battery before removing the ground wire from its location?

No i didnt. Made sure the car wasnt on and my keys werent in the ignition. then i unsrewed and scraped away.

i will have to do it on saturday morning and see what happens, at the very least, it cant hurt anything since no parts are being changed, and I am not rigging anything up. if it does great, if not, oh well.

I had time this morning and did it and it feels like my auto shifter has a quicker response now, ill test it more later

metal is an eletric conductor it allows energy currents pass along it unlike paint (think rubber gloves and wires)
