I also used a hair drayer and slowly peeled it off. The little bit of adhesive that was left I took off with windex amonia free spray and it came right off no problem!

thanks for the info everybody. i am going to take them off this weekend and get them prepped and painted and put them back on the car. I do have a plastic spatula, from a George Foreman grill (it's the latest grilleration) that I could use. It should look pretty nice when it is all done. I am going to paint the badges a glossy black, and those should look sweet against the titanium silver paint color, and in the front grill. Pic's will be posted.

I used to us a hair dryer to take off things that I would stick to the insides of my old car like tweeters. The heat really does take off the tape very well. and the goo-gone does wonders as well. Used that to take off old decals on my rear windshield.

Nooooo....can't be. That's seems way too shiny for paint. If it is, I would really like to know what brand and color that is.

I love Gold!!! Ha ha, no way would i paint my badges gold. They will be black, and it should be complete this weekend. I am glad someone picked up that it was just way they looked against the blue table and the light, and the fact the picture was taken w/ my camera phone and uploaded.

I knew that was too pretty to be painted. Of course now I feel like a dummy for not noticing it was just a reflection and poor pic quality. I knew you were going to paint them black, I just thought it was something you tried before. I don't know....the gold still might be cool.
