hi i am experiencing some heating issues with my mazda 626 1.8 96'' , since i got it for about 9 months ago i always thought it ran a bit too hot, the other day it started to approach the H , refilled it with water and antifreeeze, no change,
ran the heater on full helped a bit but not enough 
swapped the thermostat, no change,
the fan was not turning on ,even when the motor was reaching the H  so i disconnected the sensor switch and now the fan starts when the engine reaches mid range and stays on, no change, still overheats
swapped out the waterpump, no change
radiator seems ok, water is circulating in it, not getting bubbles in the water or steam from exhaust so head gasket ok.

any ideas???????

am getting to the point of swapping out the motor completely

sounds like you have a clogged heater core to me. that is all that is really left now. you could swap out the sending unit for the fan, but i really don''t think that is the issue. pull the heater core and see how clear it is. you can bypass it or just replace it.

I would pull the radiator and have it checked/cleaned. Coolant could be circulating but still be restricted enough to cause overheating. My 96 Mx6 V6 developed a similar problem a couple years ago and although two techs said it was OK, it turned out to be the radiator afterall.

thanks for your input, I will pull out the radiator and heater core tomorrow and flush them out, will report back .

Just be aware that if your car has automatic transmission, you need to disconnect fluid lines to the radiator besides the water hoses. My advice is don''t remove the radiator unless you plan on replacing it with a new unit.  The petcocks have a habit of snapping off after years of being in place. Watch out for this.

pulled the radiator out today and flushed it out, seemed pretty clean inside and out, it must have been replaced not long ago, however no change still runs too hot and starts to overheat under load,
heater core seems to working the hoses in and out are both warm ,

going nuts !!!!

well.. running out of things to look into.....
         my othere car had issues with over heating like yours in the past.. did you check your catalytic..??   sometimes,.. clogged cats will overheat your engine.. obviously the hot exhaust not blowing out.. etc.. is your car having any accelation problems..?? losing power.. etc..??  well one area to look into.. good luck..
