They ARE pricey and probably not worth it to you unless you plan on tracking the car regularly. A better set of pads (Hawk or EBC comes to mind,) S.S. braided brake hoses can make a big difference in feel, and a good set of metal pedal pads (racing pads if you will) can make a world of difference and at far less than half the cost too. For pedals, may I suggest you look into these: http://www.autovationparts.com/store/Mazda6.html Stay away from the rubber inserts. They will cost you more, wear out quickly and you don''t need them, BELIEVE ME!! These things are really grippy and because you remove the rubber pad before installing, you have metal on metal which gives you much better and direct feel and firmness. Here are mine and believe me they will grip your shoe in ANY weather. Better heel and toe ability too. A good investment for appearance and safety.

BTW: Bigger brake kits don''t offer shorter stopping distances. They offer more surface area so the rotor stays cooler. The cooler the rotor the less likely you will experience fade in hard multiple stops. Unless you drive like that, again in track-like conditions, don''t waste your money.
