CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!...97 mazda millenia L... 2.5L v6.. was driving it today n i kno my trans is messed up..so every time it gets to about 400 or 4000 rpm it starts to move so. It over heated and I cut it off and it leaked trans fluid. I added some then made it home but it started working as if it never hesitated b4 but when I put it in reverse it kept going forward. So do i need a whole new transmission? PLEASE HELP!

if you put it in neutral and give it gas would it move foward, if so then your forward clutck pack might be burned so bad it welded the clutch together and won''t release, so whatever gear you selected it''ll move forward even in park or reverse, but bring it to a tranny shop to have them check it out for you to be sure, might be something simple  good luck
