I really don''t know what it weighed, but it def drug the car down and we took it from Pa back to Tx... 1640 miles +/-.  I wasn''t too happy about it @ the time.

does it matter if the car is manual vs. auto???
what is yours if i can ask...

there is less strain on a manual vehicle?...i am guessing. Not too sure either. I guess it puts more strain on the links in an automatic trans.

I have driven 3, 4 and 5 spds w/a clutch for 35 yrs now. Does that answer your question? It''s still hard on the clutch and drivetrain, but I didn''t have a lot of choice.
