I have a 1989 Mazda B 2200 pickup w/ manual transmission.  It has always ran great, however, about 3 weeks ago it started "shutting down".  The engine cuts off and all electrical including radio, AC blower, etc. is lost.  ( it acts as if you cut the ignition key off )  It will crank immediately back, runs a little rough for a few seconds, then runs fine until the next "shut down"''.  This has occurred 3 times in the last 3 weeks.  I have checked all battery connections and the alternator checks good.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  thanks

It might also be corrosion on the main fuse. Do you lose the radio and clock settings when this occurs?
