Virgin 1, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
As long as the bolt pattern fits and the overall tire diameter is not too far off, most shops can find something to sell you. Only a few really know what you need.
I have been spending my $ on better tires than a set of bigger rims & so-so tires.  What hits the road counts most.

sorry about the problem lol.
like stated above, watch out for the offset when your lookin for new wheels.
i often see alota people that only worry about size and profile and width, and are rubbing and dont know why.
me personally, would advise u get different rims :P but hey...if u like them its your car and thats wat matter
gl

Completely agreed. It is your car. Do w/it as you wish.

Welcome subliminal. Interesting first post and way of introducing yourself, but welcome.  You should post in the new member area and tell us something about yourself and your ride.

As Virgin said welcome! But man, as far as ur wheels go, ur hosed. 8" width is already a probelm for this car, when you add in that 40mm offset ur boned. My track wheels have a 48mm offset and they''re almost even with the edges of the wheel wells, those 40mm''s have gotta be sticking out past them. Oh well, good luck man, but the only real way to fix this problem without making the ride so rough ur teeth will fall out every time you hit a pot hole is to just buy new wheels, and check out the offset next time. anything above 47 and ur probably ok, so long as you keep it to 7.5" wide.
