Hello i''m new to the forum, but have got some GREAT info from it. THANK YOU!!! My problem is that I have 2004 Tribute and it dies when you put it into park, it doesnt always do it just sometimes basically when my wife drives it. It starts and idles fine everytime, just sometimes it dies after driving and putting into park. I have no idea please any help would be appriciated. Thank you

No idea! There''s a related link here about the Park-Neutral position switch (under Mazda MPV-Looking for PNP switch) and that would be the only thing that I can think of. The Mazda MPV has the same powertrain (assuming your Tribute is an automatic V6) as the Tribute. However, that switch has more to do with the ignition lock than anything. Sorry, wish I could help!
