97 degrees coming home today, the air coming out of my AC vent was 41 degrees and the cabin air was at 67 driving down the freeway (BTW all Temps are in Fahrenheit).

Sure hope so.

My A/C does very well against the Florida heat. Had the windows tinted the day after I bought it. 5%/15%/15%/5%/15%. She gets parked in the shade when I get to work. No full sun ''''til 1300 or so. I have to turn it up on the way home so I don''''t grow icicles.

A/C has been great in the recent VA heat. Takes about 2 minutes for the car to get comfortable after baking in the sun all day.

Oh, you guys are just funnnneeee.    Seriously though, I wonder if they don''t overcharge from the factory and now that the refrigerant is losing it''s effectiveness the system actually works better?

I wish I could do that, but wouldn''t even if I lived back in Pa. My Honda had no A/C and there were plenty of times I''d wished it had... humidity mostly.
