2001 Mazda Tribute - 6 cycl Ok... Looks like many of us are having the same problems with our Tributes and other Mazdas. Mine started misfiring in December. Unfortunately I cannot get to a Mazda dealership because the nearest one is 4 hrs away and I don't think it would make it. Here is what I know: Everytime I get the code read, it indicates a misfire on one of the front bank cylinders. Apparently a regular shop cannot get anymore details than that from the code reading because Mazda keeps their code details quite secretive so you have to take your vehicle to them for service. That doesn't do me much good. I have had misfires registering on all front bank cylinders and I have replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs on all three. The check engine light has since come on again; although, has yet to misfire, but I believe that is only a matter of time. I am going to try to change the DPFE sensor and see if that fixes it. Beyond that, I have no idea. Maybe if we all come together and put "what we know" on this thread, then we can figure this out. Or has someone already got to the root of this issue? I would love some help in figuring this out. Thanks, Mike

Well I changed that sensor and it was good for a couple of days, but it started misfiring really bad this morning. It is humid and damp out, which seems to correlate with the misfires in some cases. Please HELP!!!!
