HELP PLEASE!!! - 6/4/2008 10:29:07 AM    Kemefiene   Posts: 7 Joined: 6/2/2008 Status: offline Hi, I recently joined the Mazda Family and I am curently facing a challenge. My Mazda 626 1999 Model (Automatic Transmission) consumes more gas than normal. It revvs too high and hardly switches gears. Worst still, it exudes black smoke from the exhaust. THe Mechanic says it has to do with the Air flow meter. I have bought series of Aifr floe meters but there has been no change. I ll be very grateful if anyone can profer a genuine solution Regards and thanks for your time. Post #: 1

Anyways, I ll find out if he pulled the codes. Although he used a Mo-Scanner to diagnose the problem before he told me. (in reply to virgin1) Post #: 6
