Anyone want to take a guess.

They (who are they?) say 1.40 a litre.

I think 1.35 for sure.

Anyone else have their guesses.

Depends on where you are:
It was $125.5 in the Ottawa Valley and $127.9 in the New Liskeard areas this past weekend. So I can see $1.35 for sure BUT there will be fewer people travelling than a normal May 24 weekend.

In St. John's, Newfoundland (where I live) it is already about $1.34/L for 87 octane. For 89 it's around $1.36.

You guys have it made!

$3.95 per gallon in NYC for 87 at the moment.

Its been $1.35.9 in the Comox Valley (Vancouver Island, BC) for the past week, will almost certainly break $1.40

Hard to relate - - - $1.35 (Canadian) for a litre - - - roughly (very roughly) 4 litres per gallon would be $5.40 (Canadian) per gallon - - - I filled up a few days ago at $4.06 (American) per gallon. I know that one Canadian dollar is worth more than one American dollar (don't know the exact exchange rate) so on the surface of it you Canadians are getting screwed worse than we Americans are. Makes me feel a little better but I'm sure it doesn't do anything for you. That $125.00 per barrel of oil from the Arabs is priced based on the American dollar which is shrinking in value so some of that $125.00 is just inflation. I bought my b2600i 4wd four years ago and the first time I filled up I paid $1.79 per gallon and I whined about that, but again, some of that increase from $1.79 to $4.06 is the shrinking value of the dollar. Gives me a headache to try to figure it out.

Well. The weekend is almost here. (Our may 24 is early this year. Starts this weekend)

Still at 1.25 a litre average.

I am planning a family trip to visit friends in Indianna. I will conserve till Friday to at least get gas across the border.

Indianna is 700 kms from where I am in Canada. I would like to fill'er up to the top and see if I can stretch it out all the way. Trip computer says I can. Who knows. Maybe on the way back.

Will let you guys know.
