I had been looking for a ECU mod for my '03 mazda6 and couldn't find anything for my car only for the speed6.  So I e-mailed the company that I saw one of the ECU for the speed6 and this is there respones See the bold part at the bottom:

Hello,

I was wondering if the Standback product you produce is capatible with a regular non-speed version for a '03 Mazda6?  And if not are there any simular products that I can look into?

Thank you,

Eric

All the Mazda forums that I've been on there has been a ton of interest coming from the regular 6 owners.  We are a bit jealous since the speed6ers got theirs!!

Hahah well we can take a preorder for those who already have the mafci system and want to upgrade.  If we can get 15 buyers we will push it to the front of the pack for developmentJ.

If you don't want to wait around for that, I believe that Unichip makes a plug & play piggy-back ecu for the v6 model.
