Three days ago, while at work, my 2000 626 wouldn't start. When I turn the ignition, I get nothing. The headlights don't work and neither do the wipers or horn. However, the trunk still pops, the power locks still work, and interior lights come on when key is in the ignition (including check engine and brake lights on dashboard--although faintly at times). When I tried to jump the car, I still got nothing. I think it may be the battery, given that I've never had it changed in 8 years of ownership, and also due to the fact that it would drain when I let it sit for 4 or more days. Any thoughts as to what the problem might be (dead battery, starter, etc.)?
