Maybe somebody can help with this.  I have a 2006 mazda6 and i put a injen cold air intake on it, but now my check engine light keeps coming on. It comes on for a few days and then will go off for a few days and keeps going back and forth. Has anybody else put one on and have this happen or does anybody know what it could be?  I thought maybe there was a sensor in the original air intake that comes on the car?  Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me!

check your hoses and make sure everything was connected when you put the intake on.

I'm under the impression that most CAI's have a tendency to trip the cel, because the MAF gets moved. There's a part that custom pro engineering makes that gets rid of that.

Hate to say it man, but thedfo is right. The injen cai especially seems to have the highest number of instances of this problem you refer to. Only way to fix it is to get the CpE part that will fool your ECU into not seeing the CAI anymore. Also, this is a perfect example of why you should allways research your mods before just dropping parts into the car. You never know what possible side effects you might have unless you take the time to look around and find out if anyone else has that part and if they've had any problems with it.
