I don't drive a manual because my father is the only other one in the family who knows how to (he's looking to buy a standard Fit or Versa down the road). There are three cars in the house, and sometimes my car is parked behind my mother's or sister's...and if they need to get out in the morning when I'm not up, they have to move my car. My mother learned standard in one of her Novas, but she just couldn't get comfortable. My sister, on the other hand, has come close to ruining her ATX...she'd grind a clutch very easily.

I'd like to buy a secondhand Mazda3 in a few years though, with a standard.

The 3 door Yaris was about 1 grand less than I paid for my 5door M3, and the M3 looks so much better
