Has anyone else have this problem? - 3/17/2008 9:29:24 PM    krazykid92   Posts: 5 Joined: 2/14/2008 Status: offline I have a 92' Protege. I went to buy new speakers but in the computers at Best Buy and Curciut City, it said that my car took size 4 1/2. I bought them and when I went to install them they fell right throught. When i measured my old speakers they were 6 1/2. Also when looking a plastic spacer for an aftermarket radio, nobody seemed to have 1 that would fit a 92' Protege. For anyone with this problem, all you have to do is adjust the factory spacer on the plastic part that pops out. Post #: 1
