Hi All, I just purchased a 96 millenia today. It has the standard in dash stereo with cassette. It has a CD button which I assume is for the optional in trunk cd changer. I found a use one on Ebay and bid on it. My question is what do I need to interface it to the in dash unit. Is the wiring already in place for the trunk mounted cd changer? Has anyone installed a cd changer and interfaced it to the stock head unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated. John 96 millenia, Austin Tx

we have 2 99's. each has the trunk mounted cd changer, the cars came pre wired for it. i believe the 95-96 is slightly different from the 97 and later, the difference is the plug, which is on the back of the changer. the changer mounts to the upper left side of the trunk, and has a special female connector on the back, not the round din plug. if you look in the trunk, near the left speaker, you should see a short harness with the rectangular, almost square male connector. you will need a special bracket kit, too. the 6 cd changer is made by panasonic.
