Hello, I am trying to put a set of seats that I rescued from an MX-6 into a non Mazda product. My question is that the drivers side seat is power and comes with a 6 pin plug on it. Can anyone tell me what wire does what or even better have a diagram so that I can make a custom harness and keep the power function of the seat? I really don`t want to loose the power option if I don`t have to. Thanks in advance.

Best bet would be to go find a Chiltons or Haynes manual. They tend to have fairly good wiring diagrams in the back and that may help you identify which pin does what. You may also be able to go into a dealership and talk to the people at the parts counter. They have sketches/diagrams for just about everything and may be able to give you the detail you need. Also...take a look at where the wires go under the seat. Not sure how many functions your seat has, but you may have power lumbar, power fore/aft movement, power recline, etc. If you can see which motor the wire goes to or where it is routed, that gives clues as to the function.
